WeWork India, a provider of flexible workspaces, just established its first co-working space in Chennai at Olympia Cyberspace in Guindy. This is the company's 55th location nationwide.
With two floors and over 130,000 square feet of space, the venue can accommodate 2,000 people in chairs. Wheelocity Fresh, Molex India, Dr. Wamser + Batra India, and H2O LLC have also joined, as reported by The Economic Times.

Recently coworking space provider WeWork India announced the launch of a new investment programme as part of its WeWork Labs effort in an attempt to fund early-stage entrepreneurs.
Speaking to media about WeWork India's first opening in Chennai, CEO Karan Virwani noted that the city has become a booming hub for global capability centers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs.
It joins a growing list of firms that have started incubation and acceleration programmes, including Flipkart, Panasonic, KRAFTON, and others.
