We Founder Circle (WFC), an early-stage start-up investment platform led by a global community of successful founders and strategic angels, announced 200 startups will get investments in 2023.

Since its founding in 2020, the company has already made 72 investments in new businesses, of which 25 were started by women entrepreneurs, as per reported by BW BusinessWorld.

Neeraj Tyagi, Co-Founder of We Founder Circle, said that a part of the 200 start-ups will be funded directly by the company, while the remaining will be raised through the investor network that it has developed. “Our platform enabled investments worth USD 12 million in 33 start-ups in 2021. We have developed a network of 6,500 investors from different parts of the country,” Tyagi said.

We Founder Circle is trying to help the most inspiring and ambitious entrepreneurs. Every month they select the best ideas and teams through a careful community-supported selection process and seed funds of around $100K-150K.

The platform is also looking to tap into a hitherto untapped potential in tier 2 and 3 cities. Besides roping in investors from tier-I cities, we are organising events in smaller towns like Kota to educate the investors about a new asset class, said Gaurav VK Singhvi, Co-Founder of We Founder Circle.

Singhvi said the company is partnering with local start-up ecosystems like T-Hub to make the platform in democratising early-stage start-up investments. “Local ecosystems play a significant role in building the start-up ecosystem of a region. Our aim is to create more of such partnerships,” he added.
