[Funding News] VentureSoul Partners Launches Rs 600 Cr Inaugural Fund

VentureSoul Partners has completed the initial close of its Rs 600 crore maiden fund, which resulted in the collection of Rs 146.5 crore.

The SEBI-registered Category II AIF is striving to accumulate a corpus of up to Rs 300 crore, in addition to an additional Rs 300 crore in greenshoe options.

The Mumbai-based debt firm intends to invest in approximately 20-25 businesses with an average ticket size of Rs 25-30 crore. The utmost amount will be restricted to Rs 60 crore. The fund aims to provide financial support to firms in the fintech, B2C, B2B, and SaaS sectors that have established business and revenue models and are in the Series A or later stage.

VentureSoul asserts that it has received assistance from a diverse array of investors, including family offices, corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and professionals, among others. The fund will offer differentiating debt product propositions to clients in the new age economy.

VentureSoul is a sector-agnostic fund that provides customized financing solutions to meet the unique funding requirements and business development plans of each company. Its business model combines traditional credit evaluation with technology-driven risk assessment to provide differentiated lending through a new economy credit fund.

VentureSoul invests in technology-enabled companies, which may be either Indian or subsidiaries of foreign companies operating in India. These companies are assisted in enhancing their unit economics and increasing their recurring revenue.
