Venture capital firm Aroa Venture Partners has launched a new fund with a goal size of Rs 400 crore (about $50 million). The fund has invested in businesses like Unacademy, Urban Company, and Cred.
The company has invested more than Rs 100 crore in 40 early- and growth-stage startups, as reported by The Economic Times.

“We plan on investing from seed to Series C. From seed to Series A, we will always lead the round and Series B and C, we will not lead but instead co-invest,” Gaurav Gulati, founder of Aroa Venture Partners said.
According to Aroa Venture Partners, value-added investments in businesses with strong scaling potential and demonstrated unit economics will always be made in an environment that is conducive to doing so.

From the new fund, the company intends to give cheques totaling between Rs 4 crore and Rs 40 crore to 25 companies.
