[Funding alert] Uma Robotics raises Pre-Seed round led by WFC

We Founder Circle led the pre-seed round in which Uma Robotics disclosed raising an undisclosed amount. Funds will be used to expand the engineering staff, develop the business, construct infrastructure, and purchase gear and software for R&D.

We Founder Circle led the pre-seed round in which Uma Robotics disclosed raising an undisclosed amount. Funds will be used to expand the engineering staff, develop the business, construct infrastructure, and purchase gear and software for R&D.

Uma Robotics, founded by Suchit Sharma, who has more than ten years of expertise in the robotics industry, offers sustainable logistics, automation, and IoT solutions to help manufacturing and warehouse sectors reduce costs.

Uma Robotics’ vision is to bring robotic automation to every factory. From outside the factory to inside the factory and until the last mile delivery. They want to bring automation in the whole Process. For that, UMA Robotics offers customized robots who work indoor and outdoor.

“As there are no relevant solutions for outdoors and multiple terrains at affordable prices, our vision is to completely revolutionize the Indian industry through automation to maintain a quality that is competitive with the global market. Our solutions have already been very well received by our clients and within the first year of our incorporation, we have delivered our robot to a Fortune 500 company,” said Suchit Sharma, founder and CEO, Uma Robotics.

One of the six startups that WFC has financed from its first cohort of the EvolveX, Global Accelerator programme is Uma Robotics. The STPI Chunauti 2.0 competition was recently won by Uma Robotics, who also received an INR 25 lakh investment from Pontaq Ventures. In May 2022, IIT Roorkee awarded the company with a Nidhi Pravas grant for INR 10 lakh.

“In the era of Industry 4.0, automation and efficient logistics are critical factors for the growth of any industry.
