Ultraviolet (UV), a company specializing in advanced Electric Vehicle Platforms and Battery Technology, has promoted Vinayak Bhat to the role of Chief Product Officer.
Vinayak has an extensive and notable career in aerospace and electric mobility, spanning more than ten years. His vast experience and expertise align perfectly with Ultraviolette's goal of accelerating the development of forward-thinking design and technology.
Vinayak, as the newly appointed Chief Product Officer, will be responsible for overseeing Ultraviolette's Product Portfolio expansion. This includes managing all aspects of the product's life cycle, from its initial conception and design to its development and release into the market. He will spearhead Ultraviolette's efforts to expand its product portfolio and drive innovation in the high-performance electric car industry.
Vinayak formerly held the position of Technical Director and Principal Engineer at Ultraviolette before becoming the CPO. Since his arrival at the firm in 2017, he has been instrumental in the advancement of the F77 Mach 2 and F99 Racing Platform. He has also been responsible for managing and coordinating many parts of product development, engineering, operations, and production functions.

Vinayak began his professional career in 2013 at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as a structural engineer. After moving to Safran Engineering as a design analyst, he made substantial contributions to important projects for major companies like Airbus and Boeing. His work mostly focused on landing gears, nacelles, and fuselage components.
