The sixth edition of the two-day TiE Smash Up 2022 organized by TiE Rajasthan has concluded. In this, TiE Rajasthan coordinated the serious 48 startups of the country and the state with the major investor companies of the country on one platform.
This time the 6th edition of TiE Smash Up was organized in Jaipur. In this, there was a direct dialogue between selected 48 startups from across the country and well-known angel investor companies of the country.

Here, Chirag Gupta of 8x Ventures, Moksha of Bessemer Venture, Tej Kapoor of Ivy Cap Ventures, Prateek Poddar of Nexus Ventures along with more than 20 investors from various reputed companies across the country provided investment to the startups. That is, Serious Startups will no longer have to wander in search of investors to make their dreams come true.
TiE Rajasthan President Ravi Modani said that TiE has provided a platform through Smash Up. Where investors can share their needs and startups share their ideas and projects with investors. We were successful in our objective to a large extent. Most of the startups on this platform of TiE got great encouragement from the investors.
During this, the best three startups were given the Investors’ Choice Award and one startup was also given the Popular Choice Award.

On the last day, the successful startups of the country presented their success story in front of the young startups, so that the young startups do not panic about the challenges and keep moving forward. During this, more than 350 new startups also learned tricks.
Record made with 1035 pitch meetings
Sanjay Yadav, Convener of TiE Smash Up, says that the best startups from all over the country have participated here, their projects and ideas impressed the investors. This program has been arranged in a special way, in which there can be communication between all the investors and all the startups. The TiE played the role of a bridge between the investor and the startup. In this way, a startup got an opportunity to have more than a thousand pitch meetings with different investors, which is a record.
‘Unconference’ organized in film style
On the second and last day in the TiE Smash Up, ‘Unconference’ i.e. the conference was organized without any formality. In this, all the sessions were named in the film style to attract the youth. The first session was Yalgaar, followed by various sessions under the names of Daawat-E-Ishq, Dhoom, The Lunch Box, Dhamaal, and Desi Boyz. In these, successful startups presented their success story in front of the young startups, so that the young startups do not panic about the challenges and keep moving forward. More than 350 young startups from 6 states and 29 cities participated in it.
