The corporation asserted its exclusive status as the inaugural and sole partner with NPCI in introducing the RuPay AED prepaid forex card.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) holds a large position in the global market for Thomas Cook (India)'s foreign currency industry. The company's card business has experienced substantial development, with a rise of about 1.5 times in both recharge and issuance of new prepaid cards during FY24.

Kunal Kalawatia, NCPI Chief of Products, said: "As outbound travel from India to destinations like the UAE is on the rise, the introduction of RuPay forex card in collaboration with Thomas Cook India is a progressive step towards providing convenience and innovation in forex services,"
