Rajat Luthra, a former CEO of KFC India and Nepal, has been named as the new CEO of Third Wave Coffee.
The business also announced in a statement on Monday, March 18, that Sushant Goel, who is currently the CEO, will become a board member in addition to his present position.
Third Wave Coffee’s cofounder and current CEO Sushant Goel said, “The brand is ready to embark on its next leg of growth. Now, as I transition to the board, I am excited to continue contributing towards our vision and growth from a different vantage point.”
Luthra has worked in the FMCG and QSR industries for almost thirty years. He has served as KFC's CEO in Nepal and India for the past ten plus years.
In a recent Series C fundraising round, WestBridge Capital, Udaan cofounder Sujeet Kumar, and private equity firm Creaegis contributed $35 million to Third Wave Coffee.
Third Wave Coffee is also present in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Hyderabad, Noida, Coonoor, and Chandigarh in addition to Bengaluru.
