Swaayatt has built proprietary algorithms and claims to have unparalleled capabilities in autonomous navigation, including on the typically chaotic Indian roads.  has previously stated that in order to showcase its sustainably scalable Level-5 autonomous driving technology, the startup will expand its research and development across the board for autonomous driving, with an emphasis on unsupervised and inverse reinforcement learning.

Vehicles classified as Level 5 don’t need a steering wheel, passengers facing the road, or human assistance in any way.

Swaayatt Robots has only used Mahindra Bolero for demos up until this point. The business intends to show using a number of vehicles, including Fortuner and Thar, in the near future. We plan to perform a demo in which Bolero and Thar autonomously cross paths with one another.

He added that the business, valued at roughly $175 million, will raise the remaining money.

Sanjeev Sharma, CEO, Swaayatt Robots, said: “Going forward, with this new fundraising of $4 million, which is part of a larger fund we are raising with global investors, we will actively be inventing new AI capabilities to solve the problem of autonomous general navigation,”
