To promote startup innovation in the state, the two-day Rajasthan DigiFest 2022 of the Government of Rajasthan concluded on Saturday (August 20) at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur.

To promote startup innovation in the state, the two-day Rajasthan DigiFest 2022 of the Government of Rajasthan concluded on Saturday (August 20) at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur.

In addition to companies, government officials, VCs, students, and other stakeholders, the festival attracted approximately 30,000 attendees.

This DigiFest featured 35 eBazaar participants and 45 iStart Rajasthan registered startups. Additionally, it has a drone expo, business quiz, technical exhibits, and training for students and businesses.

Rajasthan DigiFest 2022 intends to provide Rajasthani startups with a variety of possibilities, such as exhibitions and online bazaars, to assist them sell their goods to a larger audience and improve their awareness among venture capitalists, investors, and corporations.

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, spoke during the closing session about the value of IT for the general public and digital inclusion in the state. Additionally, he opened the R-CAT building, a special finishing school for technical graduates that supports them in their pursuit of employment via both short- and long-term programs and courses.

The state government also revealed during the ceremony that it has chosen 2,500 young people for the Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra Internship Program, which will allow young professionals to accept positions in state, district, and block level government according to their skills and expertise.

Renowned founders and entrepreneurs including Dr. Velumani Arokiaswamy (Founder and MD of Thyrocare); Alakh Pandey (Founder and CEO of EdTech Unicorn PhysicsWallah); and Akhil Gupta (co-founder and CTO of NoBroker.com) spoke on a wide variety of topics in over 25 sessions in Rajasthan DigiFest 2022.

Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary and Commissioner, Department of Information Technology and Communications, Rajasthan, said during the event that the festival was held by the government to connect with the startup ecosystem and its supporters in order to support and grow entrepreneurs.

The goal of this year’s DigiFest, according to Ashish Gupta, Commissioner and Joint Secretary, Department of Information Technology and Communication, Rajasthan, was to promote entrepreneurship among the state’s young people. And the numerous job fairs and events held throughout the event reflected this.

To celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship and youth, the Government of Rajasthan hosted Rajasthan DigiFest 2022 on 19th and 20th August 2022 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The purpose of the two-day multi-faceted event is to bring together the youth, startups, investors, corporates, partners and academia at one stage and facilitate interaction and collaboration with government and public at large.
