NearBook
While many people focus on problems, a true leader sees things differently. It's the way they approach challenges that sets them apart. Rather than sitting back and worrying about the issue at hand, a leader concentrates on solutions. This solution-driven mindset is what leads them to success.
This is exactly what makes the young Rajasthani entrepreneur, the founder of NearBook, stand out. Despite being an average student who often faced skepticism about his potential, he never lost faith in himself. At just 20 years old, he turned a disappointing experience into a thriving business worth ₹2 crores.
20 Years Old Entrepreneur
Driven by a strong desire to contribute something amazing back to society, a 20-year-old entrepreneur, Sanjay Kumar, aims to make reading affordable with his startup NearBook, a platform for exchanging books.
Sanjay Kumar has been an average student in his academic journey. His family and teachers often got worried about taking his career. But Sanjay was aware of his potential and that he would do something better.

Startup Wake-Up Call
While pursuing BCA, Sanjay once went to the book market with his sister. Her sister needed some books. But the prices of books were very high. This experience disappointed Sanjay. Here, one thought stuck in his mind, “Could these books be affordable?”
While brainstorming, one thought kept running through his mind—how could he create a solution that not only made books more affordable but also brought a positive change to society?
He realized that the high prices of books weren't just a barrier for book lovers; they also contributed to environmental harm by driving excessive production. This insight became a turning point for Sanjay.
It gave him a clear vision of what he needed to do, and before he knew it, this idea turned into a wake-up call that set him on the path to building his startup. This call led Sanjay to create a solution where study should never be challenging for book lovers or students.
Concept To Creation
Now, Sanjay was determined to solve this problem; the plan had been made, and the concept was ready, but turning the idea into reality was not a cup of tea. Working around the clock, brainstorming day and night, initial challenges, and a little fair about the decisions.
But taking a leap of faith, he aligned his entrepreneurship spirit with purpose and aimed to make reading affordable.
Founded in 2020, a solution, "NearBook," was launched by — the 20 years old & the average student — Sanjay Kumar.
