Statiq Partners with BPCL to Accelerate the Adoption of EV

Statiq, the foremost electric vehicle (EV) charging network in India, has formed a partnership with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to expedite the acceptance of electric vehicles in the country.

This strategic relationship entails the creation of a customised application for BPCL and the incorporation of BPCL's current chargers, which consist of around 2800 chargers, comprising 2000 alternating current (AC) chargers and 800 direct current (DC) chargers, into Statiq's network.

Statiq is leading the development of the technology and software required to operate EV charging stations with high efficiency. The company's proficiency in software development and cutting-edge technology guarantees a seamless and user-friendly charging process, effectively tackling the technical obstacles associated with expanding EV infrastructure. Statiq enhances the user experience and increases the operational efficiency of the charging network by developing advanced software solutions.

Statiq's vast network of more than 7,000 chargers spanning over 65 cities, including tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 cities, demonstrates its dedication to promoting the expansion of electric vehicles.

The corporation intends to enlarge this network to encompass 20,000 chargers by the year 2025. Statiq's charging stations are specifically engineered to support a diverse array of electric vehicles, including renowned models like Tata Nexon, MG EVZS, and Tata Tiago EV, effectively meeting the changing requirements of electric vehicle customers.
