Zostel appoints Aviral Gupta as CEO, cofounder Dharamveer Singh becomes Chairman

In a leadership change, Zo World, the parent company of hostel chain Zostel, has promoted long-time executive Aviral Gupta to CEO, while cofounder and former CEO Dharamveer Singh Chouhan has taken on the role of chairman.

In his new role, Gupta will drive Zostel’s growth in india and globally, leveraging his expertise in hostel operations, strategy and tech. 

He has been with the company since 2014, starting as a project manager and later serving as chief strategy officer and HR head before becoming CEO.

“We are building Zo not just as a travel brand, but as a lifestyle and cultural identity for the next generation,” said Gupta. 

Meanwhile, Chouhan, a cofounder of Zostel, served as CEO of Zo World for over four years, starting in 2013, according to his LinkedIn profile.
