Xiaomi India Names Sandeep Singh Arora as Chief Business Officer

Xiaomi India has appointed Sandeep Singh Arora as its Chief Business Officer to strengthen its leadership team after the departure of company president Muralikrishnan B.

In his new role, Arora will focus on business development, driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding Xiaomi's market presence.

Experience of Arora

Arora previously worked at Samsung, where he led the online business and later handled marketing communications. Arora has also held senior roles as Vice President of Marketing at Bennett, Coleman and Co., and as Category Director and EVP of Marketing at PepsiCo India and Unilever.

The appointment comes as Xiaomi works to strengthen its presence in offline channels and focus on the premium market, where it has previously had limited success.

Arora's appointment follows the hiring of industry veteran Sudhin Mathur as the Chief Operating Officer in September 2024. Xiaomi now has an all-Indian leadership team in India.
