VC firm Cornerstone Ventures Exits From CreditNirvana With Over 55% Returns

SaaS-focused venture capital firm Cornerstone Ventures has exited its investment in the AI-powered debt collection startup CreditNirvana, marking its third exit.

VC firm Cornerstone Ventures Exits From CreditNirvana With Over 55% Returns

SaaS-focused venture capital firm Cornerstone Ventures has exited its investment in the AI-powered debt collection startup CreditNirvana, marking its third exit.

The firm invested $2 million (about Rs 17.44 Cr) in CreditNirvana and earned more than 55% in return on investment (IRR).

IRR is a metric used by VC firms to measure the profitability of their investments and compare different investments.

This announcement comes a day after fintech SaaS unicorn Perfios acquired CreditNirvana.

Cornerstone Ventures partner Vatsal Bavishi said, “It marks our third exit via acquisition, and we are proud to have supported AI/ML-driven innovations like CreditNirvana. We are also pleased to see CreditNirvana join Perfios, a company poised to set new industry benchmarks as it moves toward an IPO.”

About CreditNirvana 

Founded in 2018 by Raj MKK, CreditNirvana is a B2B debt collection platform that helps financial institutions automate their debt collection processes. 

It offers services like digital collections in multiple channels and languages, call center automation, customer allocation, a GPS-enabled field app, legal process automation, and more.

About Cornerstone Ventures

The Mumbai-based Cornerstone Ventures, founded by former Reliance executives Rajiv Vaishnav and Abhishek Prasad, focuses on supporting early-stage SaaS and tech startups in sectors such as financial services, retail, healthcare and supply chain.

The latest exit is from Cornerstone’s first $50 million fund raised in 2019, which grew to include 21 companies.

Cornerstone’s previous exits were from Wigzo Technologies, a customer data platform, which was acquired by logistics company Shiprocket in 2021. Its second exit from Intelligence Node, an e-commerce intelligence platform which was acquired by US-based marketing solutions provider Interpublic Group in 2024.
