UP govt invests Rs 125 cr in flatted factory project to support MSMEs in Greater Noida

The Uttar Pradesh government will build a flatted factory in Greater Noida with an investment of Rs 25 crore. 

This project aims to boost the MSME sector and supports the state’s goal of becoming a Rs 1 trillion economy. Officials say it’s part of the state’s plan to grow as an industrial hub.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will build a flatted factory complex in Sector 28, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, with an investment of ₹125 crore. This project is part of Uttar Pradesh's plan to become a major industrial hub, with a strong focus on promoting MSMEs along with large industries.

The flatted factory is a multi-storey industrial building spread over 38,665 square metres. It is divided into smaller units to accommodate multiple businesses and is used for manufacturing, assembly, and storage activities.

The factory will offer fully equipped units with all necessary facilities to ensure smooth production and operations. According to the statement, preparatory work like the master plan and reports is in progress, and the construction is expected to be completed in 24 months.

The upcoming complex is expected to boost local economic growth by attracting investments and creating job opportunities, especially for the youth.

In addition to the main building, the complex will be designed to meet future needs and include modern facilities like internal water supply, electricity, fire safety systems, elevators, and HVAC systems, according to the statement.
