Swiggy, a food delivery and quick-commerce firm, announced on Friday that it has expanded its food delivery service with IRCTC to 100 railway stations across 20 states.

Swiggy, a food delivery and quick-commerce firm, announced on Friday that it has expanded its food delivery service with IRCTC to 100 railway stations across 20 states. 

The company plans to reach more stations across India in the coming months. Swiggy partnered with IRCTC in March 2024 to offer food delivery on trains.

"Train journeys are an integral part of India's culture, and food plays a central role in that experience. Expanding Swiggy Food on Trains to 100 stations allows us to serve passengers with greater convenience and access to a diverse range of meals from across the country," Deepak Maloo, vice president, Swiggy Food Marketplace, said.

This expansion reinforces Swiggy’s commitment to making travel easier by delivering a variety of meals directly to train passengers. Travelers can choose from over 7 million dishes, 60,000 brands and 35 cuisines across India.
