Startup India Launches Together 6.0 for Student Entrepreneurs in October 2025

Startup India launches Together 6.0, a virtual bootcamp and pitch competition in October 2025 for student entrepreneurs, offering mentorship, funding, and global exposure.

Startup India Launches Together 6.0 for Student Entrepreneurs in October 2025

Startup India, in collaboration with DPIIT, the Consulate General of India in Toronto, Schulich School of Business at York University, Canada, and Ekonnect Knowledge Foundation, has launched the sixth edition of its flagship initiative, Together 6.0 – Entrepreneurial Bootcamp and Pitch Competition.

The program, scheduled to run virtually from October 21–27, 2025, is designed to empower student-led ventures built around Self-Reliability, Sustainability, and Social Purpose. It invites applications from university students and recent graduates (within three years) who are eager to transform innovative ideas into impactful ventures.

Themes of Together 6.0

The initiative will focus on some of the most pressing sectors shaping the future economy:

  • e-Mobility

  • Environment & Energy

  • Healthcare

  • FinTech & Income Security

  • Food & Agriculture

  • Telecom

  • Textiles

  • Education

A Cross-Border Mission

Now in its sixth year, the Together Mission has become a significant Indo-Canada collaboration platform, supporting over 1,500 student entrepreneurs and awarding more than $200,000 in cash, training, and venture prizes across previous editions.

Incentives & Opportunities

At Together 6.0, participants will have the chance to:

  • Compete for up to CAD $15,000 (~₹9.5 lakh) in prize money

  • Receive global mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs and founders

  • Access Schulich MBA consultants during the bootcamp

  • Pitch before investors and venture capitalists from India and Canada

  • Network with over 100 entrepreneurial leaders worldwide

Applications are open until 15 September 2025 through the official event portal: www.schulich.yorku.ca/together.

Eligibility requires that at least one founder is a current university student or a recent graduate (within three years). High school students, PhD students, and PhD alumni are not eligible.
