SatSure and Dhruva Space Partner to Deliver End-to-End Earth Observation-as-a-Service Platform

Bengaluru-based space-tech firms SatSure and Dhruva Space have announced a strategic partnership to offer a comprehensive Earth Observation-as-a-Service (EOaaS) solution. The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), is set to provide turnkey EO offerings—spanning from satellite manufacturing and payload development to data analytics and delivery.

This alliance brings together the complementary strengths of the two companies: KaleidEO, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SatSure, contributes sub-meter optical and multi-spectral payloads with industry-specific analytics, while Dhruva Space offers small satellite platforms, launch integration services, and its new 280,000 sq. ft satellite manufacturing facility in Hyderabad—India’s largest private satellite integration hub.

“This partnership is poised to boost our sovereign EO capabilities and create a complete package for end customers,” said Prateep Basu, Founder & CEO of SatSure.

The collaboration aims to establish a single-window EO solution, eliminating the need for customers to coordinate with multiple vendors or rely on international supply chains. This integrated approach will allow industries—from agriculture and finance to utilities, defence, and disaster management—to access analysis-ready, high-resolution geospatial data through one platform.

KaleidEO recently completed successful qualification tests for its next-gen optical payloads, which will be instrumental in capturing analysis-ready imagery. Meanwhile, Dhruva’s manufacturing hub can accommodate spacecraft weighing up to 500 kg, with capabilities spanning assembly, integration, and testing—enabling rapid satellite deployment.

The demand for EO data is surging globally, with applications ranging from crop insurance in India and wildfire detection in Australia to infrastructure monitoring in Europe. Yet, in many regions, access to timely and tailored EO insights remains fragmented.

With this partnership, SatSure and Dhruva Space aim to bridge that gap by offering a vertically integrated, India-built EOaaS platform—combining scale, speed, and sector-specific intelligence. The model not only reduces time-to-market but also significantly lowers dependency on foreign vendors, offering a cost-effective, agile alternative for both domestic and international customers.
