Sanlayan Technologies, a strategic electronics startup, has acquired most of the shares in Dexcel Electronics, an embedded systems company.
This acquisition will help Sanlayan provide more advanced local solutions that support national security and promote innovation in key industries.
Sanlayan Technologies raised $4.4 million in its seed round last year from well-known investors like Gemba Capital, Singularity Ventures and others.
Dexcel has played a key role in important defense and space projects, including upgrades to Jaguar and Sukhoi aircraft and ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 missions.

Abhijit previously led the Aerospace & Defence division at Zetwerk Manufacturing and has worked at L&T, Tata Advanced and Mahindra Group. Rahul, an IIT-Delhi graduate, headed Corporate Development at Zetwerk, while Rohan, an IIM Calcutta alumnus, managed Zetwerk’s Consumer Electronics division after working at ITC and Ola.
