Saharsh Sharma Announces Departure from Orios Venture Partners After 4 Years

In a continuation of recent high-level departures at venture capital firm Orios Venture Partners, Saharsh Sharma has announced his decision to leave his position as Assistant Vice President (AVP).

Sharma had been with Orios Venture Partners since October 2019, serving as AVP of Investments. Prior to joining Orios, he co-founded healthcare startup Haplo Health in 2017.

His professional journey also includes roles as a senior business analyst at ola and a business analyst at logistics startup rivigo. Sharma holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

In his farewell post on LinkedIn, Saharsh expressed gratitude for his time at Orios and shared his plans to take a winter break while preparing for new opportunities. “I bid adieu to Orios Venture Partners, grateful for all the experiences during this journey – onto my next endeavor soon, and a relaxing winter break :),” he wrote.

While he has not disclosed specifics about his future plans, Sharma’s experience positions him for roles in either venture capital or entrepreneurial ventures.

This announcement comes amid a series of executive exits from Orios Venture Partners. In October, CFO and COO Gaurav Bindal left the firm, while managing partners Anup Jain and Rajeev Suri departed in September to launch their own venture. However, the firm has recently appointed Madhav Tandan, a former Omidyar Network India executive, as a senior partner.
