SaaS Firm Chargebee Acquires Customer Tracking Platform Trainn

Chargebee, a global leader in subscriptions and recurring revenue growth, has acquired Trainn, an AI-based customer tracking platform.

This is second acquisition in a month of Chargebee as it ramps up its AI efforts. Earlier it acquired Inai, a payment management software firm to enhance its AI-driven offerings.

Chargebee said the deal will help both companies advance their shared goal of using AI to support customers in a fast-changing market.

As part of the acquisition, Trainn’s 200 customers will now be served by Chargebee.

“The payments market is diversifying with new payment methods, embedded payments, digital wallets, buy now and pay later options, real-time payments, and the use of Al to improve customer experience and drive new business. The burden of monitoring all the performance and details is on the customers' infrastructure today,” said Krish Subramanian, CEO of Chargebee.
