Razorpay Partners With MeitY Startup Hub To Boost India's Deep-Tech Startups

Razorpay has joined hands with the MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), part of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, to support deep-tech and emerging tech startups in India.

Through this partnership, startups will get access to Razorpay’s fintech tools, mentorship, product credits, and a supportive innovation ecosystem. The goal is to help early-stage startups working on advanced technologies grow faster.

The program is aimed at startups building solutions in areas like AI, blockchain, robotics, IoT, and more—giving them the resources and support they need to tackle real-world problems and expand globally.

“As India advances toward becoming a global innovation powerhouse, it is critical that our startups grow with both agility and integrity. Our partnership with Razorpay will empower founders, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, to build with speed and confidence. Peer learning and shared networks remain powerful enablers,” said Panneerselvam Madanagopal, CEO, MeitY Startup Hub.

“As MeitY Startup Hub becomes the custodian of deep-tech and driver of inclusive tech, partnerships like these will accelerate impact — ensuring startups scale with clarity, purpose and resilience," he added.

“Most transformative ideas begin in unlikely places — with a lone founder solving a real problem, fuelled by belief more than resources. But turning belief into a business takes the right infrastructure, wisdom and a community that has your back. If we want to build for the next billion, we must empower the next million builders,” said Arif Khan, chief innovation officer, Razorpay. “This partnership with MeitY Startup Hub is about giving early-stage founders the tools, authentic mentorship and confidence to build boldly.”

MSH brings together incubators, Centres of Excellence, and key partners to help high-impact, tech-focused startups grow faster. With India now having over 159,000 DPIIT-recognised startups and 1.6 million jobs created, MSH is helping keep up this momentum—especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities—by offering mentorship, compliance support, and tools for sustainable growth.

As part of this partnership, all startups connected with MSH will get access to Razorpay Rize, the company’s main program for supporting early-stage startups.

Through Rize, founders will receive help with smoothly registering their companies—whether as a private limited company, LLP, or OPC—with priority support. They’ll also get access to useful resources made just for founders, such as help with Y Combinator applications, expert feedback on pitch decks, detailed startup toolkits, and a content hub to guide them as they grow.

To help startups get started smoothly, Razorpay will also offer them special credits for its products—like the payment gateway, business banking platform, and payroll tools—giving them access to essential financial services right from day one.
