PwC India Launches Accelerator To Back Startups In AI, Blockchain & Others

PwC India has launched its first-ever startup accelerator program, called the 'Emerging Tech Startup Challenge,' to help startups in the emerging tech space improve their solutions and expand in the market.

The program aims to encourage innovation and support India's growing startup ecosystem by offering mentorship, consulting, and strategic advice.

PwC India announced that the 'Emerging Tech Startup Challenge' is open to all India-based startups working in areas like artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, blockchain/Web 3.0, space tech, Industry 4.0, and spatial reality, among others.

Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson, PwC India, said: "By empowering emerging technology startups and equipping them with the tools to thrive, we are fostering a dynamic and sustainable tech ecosystem in India."

"We would be excited to see wide ranging innovations across industries in B2B/B2C segments, such as, retail and consumer, manufacturing, financial services, infrastructure, healthcare and telecom," it said.

Over three months, 15 selected startups will get mentorship from experts and 25 hours of free consulting in key areas like management, technology, marketing strategies, valuation, funding, and taxes.

The program will be in a hybrid format, with both online and in-person options, so startups from anywhere can join and benefit from the resources and support.

The accelerator will include a customized curriculum with workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and demo days.

Startups will also have access to PwC's network of industry experts and advisors, helping them improve their business strategies and align with their growth goals.
