Pocket FM Ties Up with OpenAI to power AI-driven audio storytelling

Audio series platform pocket fm has partnered with OpenAI to use advanced AI tools in its content creation process. This move is an important step toward build a smarter storytelling platform that supports creators and reaches audiences worldwide.

As part of the partnership, Pocket FM will use OpenAI’s APIs in different parts of its workflow to speed up content creation and production for its network of over 300,000 creators worldwide.

The company has been working on AI-based content since 2023, when it rebuilt its system around generative AI. Today, Pocket FM hosts more than 100,000 AI-created audio series. AI-driven titles are now the fastest-growing category on the platform, increasing by nearly 30% every month.

With over 12 billion minutes of listening every month, Pocket FM plans to use OpenAI’s multilingual and translation tools to improve its global reach. This will help more creator-led audio series connect with international audiences in the coming months.
