PhysicsWallah Appoints Satish Sharma as Chief Marketing Officer

Ed-tech company PhysicsWallah, which is preparing for an IPO, has appointed Satish Sharma as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

This is the company’s first official CMO appointment. Until now, the marketing team was led by Sanket Narkar.

Earlier, PhysicsWallah brought in Amit Sachdeva as CFO in November 2024, and Ajinkya Jain as Group General Counsel, Company Secretary, and Compliance Officer in January 2025 — marking a continued strengthening of its leadership team ahead of its public listing plans.

In his new role, Satish Sharma will lead the development and execution of PhysicsWallah’s brand and marketing strategy.

With over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and marketing leadership, Sharma brings deep expertise in driving strategic growth.

Before joining PhysicsWallah, he co-founded Unyscape, a marketing and analytics firm, where he served as COO and CMO. An IIT Varanasi graduate, Sharma also worked at global firms like IBM and Tata Steel earlier in his career.
