Mishra confirmed his departure in a statement, saying, “I stepped down from my role at Clensta in October 2024. This decision came after we began exploring a possible acquisition, which didn’t align with my long-term goals."
“The last 2-3 months have been spent on extensive research to identify and build a personal care brand in this crowded market. We will make an official announcement within the next 2 months," he added.
He also shared that he is working on launching his own personal care brand and has partnered with former founders who have built successful brands.
Mishra joined Clensta in September 2023 as the co-founder and chief business officer. Before that, he led various business divisions at Mamaearth, including general trade, modern trade, HORECA, institutional, international, alternate and salon businesses.
