Peak XV Partners Gets Rs 1,200 Cr Profit From Porter Exit: Report

The firm had invested ₹116 crore over several rounds in the past 10 years, and this exit gave them more than 11 times that amount in return.

Peak XV Partners Get Rs 1,200 Cr Profit From Porter Exit

Peak XV Partners has earned over Rs 1,200 crore ($140 million) by fully exiting its investment in logistics startup Porter, according to media reports. 

The firm had invested ₹116 crore over several rounds in the past 10 years, and this exit gave them more than 11 times that amount in return.

“The company has scaled significantly since our Series A investment in 2015, and is now valued at over a billion dollars. After nearly ten years of partnership, we have exited our stake and are deeply grateful to the founding team—Uttam Digga, Pranav Goel, and Vikas Choudhary—for their exceptional collaboration,” a Peak XV spokesperson said.

Peak XV has sold part or all of its stake in several companies like Rebel Foods, Healthkart, Finova, K12 Techno, and Cloudnine Hospitals. 

It also reduced its shares in firms planning to go public or already listed, such as ixigo, Awfis, Go Digit, Blackbuck, Zomato, mamaearth, Truecaller, Indigo Paints, Five Star Business Finance, and MobiKwik. 

In the past five years, it has made around $3.6 billion from such exits, with over 30 portfolio companies going public. In 2024 alone, it exited deals worth $1.5 billion—more than it invested during that time, As per media reported. 

Porter’s latest funding round, led by Kedaara Capital and Wellington Management, valued the company at $1.2 billion. The deal included both new funding and share sales by existing investors, including Kae Capital, who also exited.
