Paytm Money has seen significant leadership changes over the past two years. Rakesh Singh took over as CEO after Sridhar but recently moved to another role within Paytm. According to media reports, Sandiip Bharadwaj has been appointed as the new CEO of Paytm Money.

Sridhar plans to start a venture in the wealthtech space, though the concept and approach to delivering real value to investors and traders are still being developed. He currently lives in Goa and aims to build his new startup there.

“The Indian wealthtech opportunity is large, growing fast and something I love doing, hence I believe this will be the perfect time to startup in this space,” Sridhar said.

Sridhar joined Paytm during its pre-IPO phase, helping shape the company’s operating model before it went public. At Paytm Money, he led initiatives like daily mutual fund SIPs, expanding digital gold offerings, and designing secured lending products.
