OYO-parent PRISM rejigs top leadership to boost international growth

OYO’s parent company, PRISM, announced on Friday a “strategic leadership realignment” aimed at accelerating growth and advancing its premiumization journey.

Ankit Tandon, currently CEO of OYO Vacation Homes, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of PRISM and CEO, Europe. In his expanded role, he will oversee global business performance and operations for PRISM, including brands like Belvilla, DanCenter, Sunday Hotels, and others.

He will also lead PRISM’s operations in Europe, including the UK’s hotel market, and the United States, covering G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6. Tandon will continue to head PRISM’s Vacation Homes business, including recent acquisitions like CheckMyGuest (France) and MadeComfy (Australia).

Puneet Yadav, UK Country Head, will report to Tandon, while Sonal Sinha, CEO of G6 Hospitality in Dallas, will collaborate closely with Tandon and Ritesh Agarwal. Tandon has been with PRISM for over 10 years.

Varun Jain, currently COO-India, has been promoted to COO-Asia (PRISM), with expanded responsibilities covering India and SEAME (Southeast Asia and the Middle East).

He will also oversee PRISM’s listings business, Traum Ferienwohnungen in Germany. In India, the Innov8 and Weddingz businesses will now report to him. He will be supported by Pankhuri Sakhuja (leads Innov8 and Traum) and Nitin Gupta (heads SEAME).

Shreerang Godbole will continue as Chief Service Officer for PRISM, overseeing customer experience, field, and remote operations across all PRISM businesses. He will also lead DanCenter operations, manage the integration and growth of MadeComfy in Australia, and collaborate with Ankit Tandon on US PropCo operations.

Meanwhile, Shirish Damani has been appointed COO, Europe Homes & Hotels (PRISM). He will work closely with Tandon to drive supply, revenue, and margins across Belvilla, DanCenter, CheckMyGuest, Studio Prestige, and HelpMyGuest, while continuing to lead global M&A initiatives.
