ONDC CEO T Koshy Steps Down After Three-Year Stint

According to Koshy’s LinkedIn profile, he previously worked at the consulting firm Ernst & Young (EY) for over 10 years. Before that, he spent more than 14 years as Executive Director at the National Security Depository Limited (NSDL).

ONDC CEO T Koshy Steps Down After Three-Year Stint

Thampy Koshy, MD and CEO of the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), has stepped down for personal reasons. An executive committee will now lead the organization.

Koshy had joined ONDC in February 2022.

ONDC in an official statement said, "As with any dynamic and evolving organisation, a leadership change is currently underway. Koshy has expressed his desire to step down while helping on with the change. The MD & CEO responsibilities have been transitioned to an executive committee with Koshy available to the board over the next 3 months for advise."

About ONDC

Launched in 2022, ONDC aims to make digital commerce more accessible for everyone. It now has around 7.6 lakh sellers and service providers across 616+ cities, covering sectors like food, groceries, fashion, home and kitchen, electronics, financial services, and mobility.

The organization shared that it has crossed 200 million transactions and is on track to meet its major goals.
