"With rising global demand and supportive policy initiatives, India is well positioned to expand its footprint in advanced electronics manufacturing," the post noted.

This strategic move comes as the Indian government pushes for “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India) in semiconductors and electronics. By working closely with major domestic players like Tata Electronics, a leader in semiconductor testing and mobile component manufacturing, Niti Aayog aims to align policies with real industry needs.

The collaboration between government guidance and private sector execution is expected to create high-value jobs and foster a culture of innovation that can compete globally.
