Nazara’s Absolute Sports Acquires TJRWrestling.net And ITRWrestling.com

Absolute Sports, the parent company of Sportskeeda and a part of Nazara Technologies, is set to buy two pro-wrestling media platforms—TJRWrestling and ITRWrestling—for $1.25 million in cash.

The platforms which Titan Insider Digital owns, will be acquired through Sportskeeda’s US branch, Sportskeeda Inc. The deal is expected to close in 45 days, pending usual conditions.

This acquisition aims to strengthen Absolute Sports' position in the US combat sports media market, boosting fan engagement and digital advertising opportunities.

“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our vision to be the leading go-to destination for wrestling content worldwide. It also reinforces Absolute Sports’ dedication to expanding its footprint in the fast-growing US media market through a targeted and impactful M&A strategy," said Ajay Pratap Singh, CEO of Absolute Sports.

TJRWrestling and ITRWrestling, launched in 2009 and 2020, have built strong communities around pro-wrestling content. Together, they attract 1.7 million monthly active users and get 4.6 million pageviews each month, mainly from North America.

In 2024, the two sites generated $722,000 in revenue, according to the company.
