Nazara to Launch FAU-G: Domination Android Beta on December 22

Nazara Publishing, a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies, is set to launch the Android beta version of its made-in-India first-person military shooter, Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G): Domination, on December 22.

Nazara Technologies’ subsidiary, Nazara Publishing, will launch the Android beta version of its made-in-India first-person military shooter game, Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G): Domination, on December 22. 

Players participating in the beta will have exclusive access to the game’s complete suite of maps, modes, weapons, and characters prior to its official release.

The beta, developed by Mumbai-based Dot9 Games, includes updates such as improved maps, enhanced sound, weapon balancing, and more. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn exclusive cosmetic items and win limited-edition FAU-G: Domination merchandise.

Pre-registrations for the Android version of the game are live on the google Play Store, with iOS pre-registrations set to open soon.

This launch follows reports that Nazara's subsidiary, NODWIN Gaming, has acquired an additional 93% stake in esports media company AFK Gaming for INR 7.6 Cr through cash and equity swaps. Additionally, Nazara recently invested INR 15 Cr in its adtech arm, Datawrkz, to enhance its position in the digital advertising sector.

Nazara raised INR 855 Cr via a preferential issue from investors like SBI Mutual Fund, CaratLane founder Mithun Sacheti, and Aamara Capital to fuel strategic acquisitions and business expansion.

Recently, Nazara acquired gaming agency Trinity Gaming for INR 24 Cr and plans to increase its stakes in NODWIN and Absolute Sports, parent company of Sportskeeda. The company is also investing in kids’ play center Funky Monkeys and edtech startup Learntube.ai.

This year, Nazara has made several strategic acquisitions, including stakes in Pokerbaazi, Paperboat, STAN, Fusebox, Ninja Global FZCO, Freaks 4U, and Circle of Games. Despite a 33% decline in its consolidated net profit to INR 16.24 Cr in Q2 FY25, Nazara continues to expand aggressively in the gaming and entertainment market.
