Navi Group has appointed two long-time team members to lead its main businesses. The company also announced that founder Sachin Bansal will step down as CEO but remain executive chairman.
Navi has appointed Rajiv Naresh as the new CEO of Navi Technologies Limited and Abhishek Dwivedi as the new CEO of Navi Finserv Limited.
Rajiv Naresh and Abhishek Dwivedi have been with Navi since its early days and have held several leadership positions in the company over the past six years.

New Role Of Bansal
Their appointments come after the Reserve Bank of India lifted a temporary ban on Navi Finserv’s lending, which had stopped loan approvals for about 40 days due to regulatory issues.
Bansal, who was CEO of both Navi Technologies and Navi Finserv, will now focus on guiding the group’s direction and strategy.
As executive chairman, he will lead important areas like fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance. He said the leadership change is a "strategic milestone" that will help Navi focus on long-term growth.
"This restructuring is a strategic milestone that enables us to sharpen our focus on long-term growth. Both Rajiv and Abhishek have played key roles in our growth, and I am confident that we will continue on this upward trajectory as they assume their new roles," said Bansal.
The appointments of Naresh and Dwivedi are part of a bigger plan to make Navi a key player in financial services. Naresh will manage the company’s non-lending businesses, while Dwivedi will lead the lending operations.
Bansal stressed that the leadership change aims to improve the company’s performance, not in response to recent challenges.
