TIME magazine has shared its 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential People in Philanthropy. It highlights leaders around the world who are making a big impact through charity, funding, and policy changes.
Some people on the list are David Beckham, recognized for his ongoing work as a champion for change; Michael Bloomberg, named the biggest donor of 2024; Oprah Winfrey, honored for her efforts in female education; Melinda French Gates, who focuses on women, girls, and families; and Warren Buffett, known for changing modern philanthropy.

Indians on the list include business leaders Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Azim Premji and Nikhil Kamath.
The TIME100 Philanthropy List 2025 says Mukesh and Nita Ambani kept growing their charitable work by donating Rs 407 crore (about $48 million) in 2024 to many social causes. This made them some of the top donors in India that year.
According to TIME, Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s charity work is as big and diverse as their business empire.
They have supported scholarships, helped women improve career skills, supported rural communities with sustainable farming, worked on water conservation, funded hospital building, and improved school facilities.
Azim Premji was recognized in the important 'Titans' category, while zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath was included in the 'Trailblazers' list.
