Mobile Premier League Acquires CloudFeather Games to Enhance Gaming Tech

Mobile Premier League (MPL), a leading skill gaming platform has expanded its technological capabilities by acquiring CloudFeather Games, a provider of gaming development tools.

While the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, MPL announced this strategic acquisition on December 10, 2024.

Founded in 2021 by Romi and Yash Chandra, CloudFeather Games specializes in providing real-money gaming and Web3 solutions for game developers.

The company offers a wide range of technology infrastructure including multi-card game networks, wallet integration systems, advanced liquidity management tools, and SDKs aimed at monetizing games. This acquisition is expected to enhance MPLs ability to deliver cutting edge gaming experiences.

Romi Chandra co-founder of CloudFeather expressed excitement about the partnership stating that the acquisition marks a new chapter for his team. He highlighted CloudFeathers admiration for MPLs vision and scale as well as their eagerness to contribute to MPLs growth and innovation. Together, the two companies aim to push the boundaries of skill based gaming providing players with top-tier technology.

CloudFeather Games had previously raised $1.25 million in seed funding in 2022, led by Lumikai, a gaming-focused venture fund. Kislay Shashwat Principal at Lumikai congratulated the founders for their journey noting that CloudFeather’s solutions had a significant impact on the skill gaming industry. The acquisition not only strengthens MPL’s platform but also underscores its commitment to advancing gaming technology for millions of users.

With this acquisition MPL aim to further solidify its position in the competitive online gaming space using CloudFeathers expertise to improve its offerings and create seamless gaming experiences for its growing user base.
