Mintoak Acquires Digiledge to Boost Bill Payments and CBDC Features

Mintoak, a platform that helps merchant apps for large banks in India, the Middle East, and Africa, has acquired Digiledge, a fintech company that specializes in bill payments and Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) solutions.

This acquisition adds bill payment and CBDC features to Mintoak’s platform, helping it offer more digital solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). The goal is to improve merchant engagement, retention, and monetization for banks and financial institutions.

Mintoak stated that Digiledge’s expertise will help its partner banks provide a more complete financial ecosystem for SME customers. Founded in 2017, Mintoak is a cloud-based payments platform that helps banks enable digital payments and financial services for merchants.
