Mamaearth’s Parent Company Honasa Sees CBO Zairus Master Exit

Zairus Master, Chief Business Officer at Honasa Consumer Ltd, has resigned from the parent company of mamaearth, effective February 28, citing personal reasons. This marks at least the second top-level exit in recent months.

This comes about four months after Jayant Chauhan resigned as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Honasa.

Master, who joined the company in 2021, was responsible for driving brand strategy and omnichannel growth at the beauty and personal care company.

In addition to Zairus Master's departure, several other exits have occurred at Honasa over the past year. In October, Jayant Chauhan, Chief Product and Technology Officer, left the company. Earlier in August, Abhishekk Raj Pandey, Senior Vice President - Commercial, left to become co-founder and CEO of Zalon, part of Z Revolution Tech Pvt Ltd. Meanwhile, the company promoted Vipul Maheshwari to Senior Vice President of Product and Data Analytics in November and recently appointed Dr. Kaustav Guha as Vice President of Research and Development.

The Gurugram-based Honasa is a house of brands and the parent company of Mamaearth, The Derma Co, Aqualogica, Dr Sheth’s, BBlunt and Staze.

Before joining Honasa, Zairus Master, an IIM Lucknow graduate, was the CEO of job portal Shine.com for nearly five years, after serving as the business head and leading brand and product strategy for over seven years at the HT Media-owned company. He also worked at telecom giants Nokia and Airtel in strategic planning for over five years and was the regional director for branding at Unilever India in his last role at the consumer giant.
