JSW Ventures, the venture capital arm of the JSW Group, is reportedly planning to launch its third fund to raise between ₹400 crore and ₹450 crore (around $47–$52 million) from Indian investors.

This move follows the full deployment of its ₹300 crore second fund, which was launched in 2020 and backed by family offices and institutions like SIDBI, NABARD, and the family office of Ranjan Pai.

About JSW Ventures

Founded in 2016, JSW Ventures focuses on early-stage Indian startups building scalable, tech-driven solutions across sectors like fintech, agritech, healthtech, consumer tech, and enterprise tech. The firm typically invests in pre-Series A and Series A+ rounds.

Its first fund of $10 million, backed by the JSW family office, included investments in companies like purplle, HealthPlix, and HomeLane. The fund delivered 3X returns, including a 2.7X return from its exit in Purplle in 2023.

The second fund backed both existing and new startups like Growcoms, Vetic, Zvolv and led StayVista’s Rs 40 crore Series B round last month.

The fund launch comes as VC activity in India shows signs of recovery, with startups raising $5.7 billion in the first half of 2025—an 8% increase from the same period last year. One reason for this uptick is the launch of new VC funds like this one.
