Harshil Mathur, CEO and cofounder of Razorpay, is now the vice chairman and Sameer Nigam, CEO of PhonePe, is the treasurer. Together with Srinivasu, they will make up IAMAI’s executive council.
IAMAI is a non-profit industry group with over 600 members, including Indian and global companies, as well as startups.
Its 2023 elections faced controversy when some members accused the council of favoring big tech firms over local internet startups and organizations.
