Giesecke+Devrient (G+D), a global leader in SecurityTech, has launched the latest version of its banknote processing systems, the BPS C evo. 

This new product, aimed at bank branches, currency chests, and cash-in-transit companies, improves upon the previous BPS C2 and C5 models. It incorporates customer feedback to enhance efficiency, security, and performance, providing a solution for businesses to optimize cash operations, reduce costs, and remain competitive. 

The BPS C evo can process up to 63,000 banknotes per hour, making it ideal for small and medium-sized currency chests and commercial bank back offices.

The BPS C evo addresses four key objectives: increased efficiency, improved security, enhanced performance and stronger reliability in counting, sorting and authenticating banknotes. It combines advanced technology with a customer centric design marking a significant step in the digitalization of cash-handling operations.

The system includes a new Linux-based software platform, a high-speed processor and automated features that minimize operational errors and optimize task management. Additionally, the BPS C evo reduces jams and rejections, improving throughput.

Security is reinforced with encrypted communication protocols and intelligent automation. The system’s user-friendly interface includes high resolution displays offering clear, step by step guidance for easy operation. Optional automated software updates and simplified training help businesses quickly adapt to the technology.

This launch comes at a critical time in India, where cash circulation is increasing despite the rise of digital transactions. With cash in circulation having nearly doubled over the last eight years, the BPS C evo plays a crucial role in modernizing cash management processes. G+D’s commitment to innovation strengthens its position as a leader in banknote processing solutions globally.
