Omnichannel kidswear brand FirstCry has completed its ₹146 Cr ($17 million) investment in its subsidiary GlobalBees, five months after announcing the plan.
In a filing with the stock exchanges, the company said it invested ₹73 Cr as the second tranche in GlobalBees, buying 2,220 Series C2 CCPS with a face value of ₹5 each at a premium of ₹3.29 lakh per share.

With this investment, FirstCry raised its stake in GlobalBees from 51.12% to 51.51%. The subsidiary also raised just over ₹100 Cr in the round, issuing 3,041 Series C2 CCPS to existing shareholders.
In March, FirstCry announced plans to invest ₹146 Cr in its e-commerce roll-up business and completed the first tranche of ₹73 Cr that same month.
Meanwhile, FirstCry reported a 12% drop in consolidated net loss to ₹66.5 Cr in Q1 FY26, down from ₹75.6 Cr a year ago. Its operating revenue grew 13% to ₹1,862.6 Cr, up from ₹1,652.1 Cr in Q1 FY25.
Along with its August financial disclosure, the company said it will invest an additional ₹20 Cr in GlobalBees from its IPO proceeds within two months.

Out of the ₹1,601.7 Cr raised through the IPO, it had planned to invest ₹169 Cr in GlobalBees, having already invested about ₹84 Cr in the subsidiary.
GlobalBees, FirstCry’s roll-up subsidiary, includes brands like home care brand The Better Home, jewellery brand Yellow Chimes, hair care brand Rey Naturals, and healthy snack brand The Butternut Company in its portfolio.
