ePlane, a leader in compact flying electric taxis and urban air mobility, has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global IT and digital transformation leader.
This partnership focuses on reshaping urban mobility by combining ePlane’s innovations in electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with TCS’s expertise in AI, data analytics and IoT. Together, they aim to address urban challenges like congestion, inefficiency and environmental sustainability.
Through this collaboration, ePlane will showcase its advanced aircraft designs and technologies, while TCS will use its digital expertise to enhance air mobility systems with AI, IoT, and analytics.
ePlane said that the partnership focuses on sustainability and scalability by creating a supplier-buyer framework and integrating renewable energy sources, this will help ensure the long-term sustainability of electric aviation while improving operational efficiency.

In November 2024, ePlane raised $14 million in a Series B funding round, co-led by Speciale Invest and Antares Ventures. The round also saw continued support from Micelio Mobility, Naval Ravikant, Java Capital, Samarthya Investment Advisors, Redstart (from Naukri), and Anicut.
