DigiHaat, a digital e-commerce initiative launched by Nirmit Bharat, a fully owned subsidiary of the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), has officially launched its Pre-Beta app on google Play and the App Store with limited user access.
This new platform offers an extensive range of over 2.5 crore SKUs across eight diverse categories including Grocery, Food Delivery, Fashion, Electronics & Appliances, Home Décor, Beauty, Health & Wellness among others. The app aims to meet a wide array of consumer needs by connecting users to a variety of products, all available through a simple and user-friendly interface.
A key feature of the DigiHaat app is its "Amazing India" property, which connects users to the nation's rich artisanal legacy. This section curates and showcases handcrafted products made by Indian artisans highlighting the skill, craftsmanship and cultural diversity found across India.
This initiative is designed to promote and preserve India’s diverse artisanal traditions while giving consumers access to high-quality, locally made products.

It is fully available PAN India making it an inclusive platform for buyers and sellers from all regions.
During its development, DigiHaat prioritized enhancing the user experience, especially for first-time digital shoppers. To make the app easier to navigate and less overwhelming the company hosted a national hackathon to gather insights that would improve the platform’s usability and trustworthiness.
These insights are being incorporated into the app to ensure that users, regardless of their level of experience with online shopping can have a smooth and secure experience.
In addition, DigiHaat partnered with MyGov to host a nationwide logo design competition receiving over 400 entries from more than 700 participants across India.
This initiative engaged the public and reflected DigiHaats commitment to infusing creativity into its platform. The strong engagement across social media platforms further emphasized the popularity of this initiative.
DigiHaat’s spokesperson commented on the launch, stating “DigiHaat is built to foster a digital ecosystem that caters to the needs of every Indian.
By incorporating feedback from the national hackathon and MyGov’s logo design competition, we’ve ensured that the app is intuitive, secure and accessible for all users whether they are first-time shoppers or seasoned e-commerce enthusiasts.”
