Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl’s VC fund Eternal Capital rebrands to Sadev Ventures

Eternal Capital, an early-stage VC fund started by former bharatpe COO Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl, has rebranded itself as Sadev Ventures.

The firm said the new name aligns with its family office identity and values. With this change, Sadev Ventures will continue its India-first focus while also helping portfolio companies expand globally through support from international LPs and strategic partners.

“As our vision goes deeper into India’s entrepreneurial fabric while simultaneously tapping financial, social & intellectual capital pools across borders, it’s the right time to scale under an identity that has resonated with all our longstanding stakeholders. It also shifts the focus away from a ‘capital-only’ play and reinforces our commitment to enabling ventures that can become generational institutions,” said Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl, founder & managing partner of the fund.

Sadev Ventures, launched in mid-2024, is a sector-agnostic, stage-focused VC fund that invests in startups from seed to pre-Series A with cheque sizes of ₹2–6 crore. 

So far, it has invested about half of its ₹120 crore corpus (with a ₹120 crore greenshoe option) across 20 startups, including Asaya, Cleevo, Cookd, Gladful, Hypergro, Bidso, and Liquide.

The fund will continue backing post-product-market-fit startups that show profitable growth potential. Staying true to its operator-led model, Sadev Ventures says it offers not just money, but also founder-focused support and strong industry networks.
