Bhupinder Garg Resigns As CTO Of Unicommerce

Unicommerce, a SaaS platform for retail and ecommerce, has announced that its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Bhupinder Garg has stepped down. He has been with the company for over seven years and is leaving for personal reasons, as per company filings.

In a letter to the company, Garg said, “I hereby tender my resignation as senior management personnel under the SEBI Regulation 2015, with effect from the close of business hours on Tuesday, April 15, for personal reasons.”

During his time at Unicommerce, Garg helped build a strong leadership team in Engineering and Product Development. After his exit, Ankit Jain will take over Engineering and Rachit Srivastava will lead Product Development. Both have worked closely with Garg over the years.

The company also thanked Garg for his significant contributions.

Kapil Makhija, CEO of Unicommerce, announced the news on a LinkedIn post, said, “I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for Bhupinder Garg, who has stepped down as our Chief Technology Officer after a long and remarkable journey with Unicommerce." 

“Over the past 7+ years, Bhupinder has been instrumental in shaping the architecture that powers our platform today. Under his leadership, we built not just systems but a strong, secure, cost-effective, and highly efficient technology foundation that underpins all of our operations,” he added. 

Earlier this year, Unicommerce strengthened its courier services by fully acquiring Shipway.
