Axiom Space Signs MoU India-based Skyroot Aerospace to Advance Space Exploration

Texas-based Axiom Space has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India's Skyroot Aerospace to explore collaborative opportunities aimed at advancing space exploration and expanding access to low-Earth orbit (LEO).

This collaboration highlights the deepening ties between Axiom Space and India's growing space ecosystem. The recently launched Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) on June 25 at 2:31 a.m. ET marks a historic moment—India's return to human spaceflight and its first-ever mission to the International Space Station.

Ax-4 is a testament to how Axiom Space is reshaping access to low-Earth orbit (LEO), laying the groundwork for a dynamic space economy that benefits humanity worldwide.

As Axiom Space moves forward with the development of Axiom Station—the first commercial space station—the company continues to build a diverse global supply chain by partnering with innovative players like Skyroot Aerospace, reinforcing its leadership in the future of LEO.

Axiom Space and Skyroot Aerospace are exploring collaboration opportunities to build era-defining space infrastructure. As part of the partnership, Axiom Space will consider leveraging Skyroot’s capabilities for research payloads, orbital data center nodes, and various missions to Axiom Station and other independent operations in low-Earth orbit (LEO). Together, the two companies aim to serve both Indian and global markets, fueling innovation and access in the new space economy.
