Agritech Firm DeHaat Acquires NEERX to Boost Real-Time Agri Intelligence

Agritech company DeHaat has bought Ahmedabad-based smart farming startup NEERX for an undisclosed amount.

With this deal, DeHaat will add NEERX’s real-time soil and weather monitoring tech to its platform, making its precision farming services even stronger.

With this acquisition, DeHaat will now give farmers real-time updates on soil health and weather. NEERX’s SHOOL sensors and analytics platform will be used across DeHaat’s network to offer helpful farming advice to smallholder farmers.

NEERX’s founders will join DeHaat to help scale the technology. This move supports DeHaat’s larger mission of bringing advanced technology into Indian farming.

NEERX was founded in 2019 by Harsh Agrawal and Nikita Tiwari, NEERX is best known for its flagship product, SHOOL — an ISRO-validated soil sensor that provides key insights on soil and crop health. It combines on-ground data with satellite imagery and cloud analytics to help farmers improve irrigation, nutrient use, and overall crop yields.
